Bapak (Mr) Eika Sabuna is carver of this beautifully executed lime container. Eika has worked red cedarwood into a head with crown to act as the plug then attached it to the finely etched buffalo horn body with a redwood waist and another layer of buffalo horn then added a redwood base. Eika has adorned this beauty with a very fine traditional kaif design. Betel nut chewing still prevades the lives of many Atoni living a subsistence level lifestyle in the mountians of West Timor.
