Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING & HANDLING:

  • We use Australia Post. You are welcome to use your own carrier. Contact us at admin@timortreasures.com to coordinate.
  • Dependent upon weight when packed and destination.
  • Timor Treasures will source the most practical and economical carrier to your shipping address and advise the buyer. Goods will be sent via this method unless the buyer requests an alternative.
  • Buyer pays all shipping costs to their stated destination.
  • Shipping Insurance optional.
  • All items have been quarantined to Australian standards.
  • All prices quoted in AUD.
  • All prices have Australian GST included.
  • Goods sent, by agreed carrier, when buyer’s funds clear Timor Treasures account here in Australia.
  • All items displayed should be available for shipping upon receipt of your funds. However if an item is out of stock we will notify you by phone or email.
  • The buyer will be advised as soon as the goods have left Timor Treasures for your stated destination.
  • Further, International buyers please note; You are responsible for any taxes or duties upon receipt of your goods. Where possible appropriate wording will be used in order not to bring about these costs. If you are aware of the correct terminology for entry of goods into your country please advise us.

We use regular/economy post for both national and international which is trackable and depending upon current situations will deliver within 3-8 days nationally, longer for international, we will give you an indication when finalising your order.

Registered post is strongly recommended for higher value items and insurance is additional. We will advise total costs with insurance if you request it.

We cannot replace items lost in the post if you choose not to register or insure them however; we will do everything necessary to assist in locating item. We keep separate records on all sales including freight details.

 

PAYMENT:

AUSTRALIAN clients – EFT OR Direct Deposit is preferred as Paypal charges us fees to receive your funds. Just click on PAY BY BANK DEPOSIT as the payment process and follow the prompts. Bank chq and money orders are acceptable contact info@timortreasures.com for postal address.

INTERNATIONAL clients – you can now use direct deposit systems in most countries to transfer funds without fees. Check with your bank or have a quick search online to find out how. Paypal charges us fees to receive your funds which we must allow for.

 

ORDERING MULTIPLE ITEMS:

Please wait for an invoice, especially if ordering multiple items so that we can combine your purchases to maximise postage costs for you. Our shopping cart cannot differentiate between freight costs and zones. To get an indication you can refer to weights in the items description and look in the Zz-FREIGHT COSTs section below categories. The more items you combine, the more economical it gets for postage. Bear in mind that the total weight has to include packing (box and padding).

Tracking is automatically included in Australian postage unless we send in a simple cost effective envelope. We only quote international with tracking. Freight prices are subject to change. Express, registered or insurance is additional.

 

RETURNS & REFUNDS:

Timor Treasures values its reputation and our clients and as such we strive to represent our treasures as clearly as possible given the computer screen as our medium of viewing. Every item will have the measurements and weight in metric and imperial. If you have any questions please email or call us prior to purchase. If your treasure arrives in an unacceptable condition Australian Consumer Laws & Rights ensures your claim to refund or replacement. Return postage is at Timor Treasures discretion and in conjunction with negotiation with you as the affected party. julie@timorteasures.com

  • Full refunds are available within 10 days in Australia.
  • Shipping and handling charges to clients are not refundable except upon negotiation.
  • Worn, broken, used, damaged, or altered items are not refundable.
  • If items are damaged in transit please retain the packaging and contact info@timortreasures.com within 48 hours of receipt of the order.
  • Return costs to be covered by the buyer until an agreement is reached with Timor Treasures. This is dependent upon reason for return.
  • Returns need to be carefully packaged and sent in a crush proof box.
  • No International returns except upon negotiation.
