Statues Tall, Horses & Totems

Whilst there are very few carvers recreating ancestor figures there are some who present me with their works. Tall statues are always evocative and present in a typically Timorese style. And then there are the horse statues.
Timorese ponies are revered by their owners and whilst fodder is not always plentiful these ponies are well cared for. Ridden to market and used to bring cow fodder from the forests there is also some great paraphernalia associated with them such as hand rolled string horse sacks, whips and hand rolled bridles complete with hand beaten metal bits.
